Nice Craig, the larger version is really outstanding especially the light and the colors. The composition is good although a bit busy but still very good subject/bg separation.

Wonderful light and rich, beautiful color in this Craig. Also a very fine composition for my tastes. Touch of Orton maybe or is that just the light. Whichever it is, this is superb work for my tastes. The only thing I might consider is taking a little from the left and right just to emphasize the orchid more. Maybe to 5:7. Doesn't matter though.

That iris is gorgeous. I agree with Pat's 4 x 5 crop suggestion, but I think I'd take most if not all off the left side.

Craig: SPECTACULAR light IMO and a fine comp. I like the BG as is. If I was to crop it would be on the left just enough to get rid of the bright stem running up the left edge. This is a superb shot.>=))>

Craig, I agree with the crop suggestion, but the light, colors and settings are superb. Wonderful capture.

Wonderful detail and color! I actually think the diagonal stems in the background work in this case for a bg. Just beautiful.

Craig:
Wonderful spot light on the flower. The bg though a little busy is not a distraction and the dark colored iris just stand out. I might be tempted to tweak and increase the brightness of the 11 o'clock petal just a smidgen to see what it looks like.
