Timothy,
The composition is simple enough on this one that I can understand it. I like the bloom but I also particularly like the fact that you brought the leaves into the image. I might consider darkening the twigs in the viewer's upper right corner a bit. Aside from that nit, which might be the brightness setting on my uncalibrated monitor, I like the image very much.

i really like the whole composition captured here Timothy. The twigs are a little distracting, but not a deal breaker for me. Great capture and display.

Tim: I'm going to be lazy and ditto Pat. The one twig in the URC that has the white spots on it could go away and I'd be happier. We don't have these flowers in my part of the world so I've never seen one in the wild. This is a treat. >=))>

Wonderful presentation. We have red and white trilliums and they usually hang their heads making it difficult to take such a nice image. Well done!

Great comp. I really like how the sets of "3" are arranged with the frame. Well done.

Thanks to all! Patricia, it takes some forest floor foraging to find one to pose this nicely... Plenty of droopers here as well. I just wish the bloom would last longer. it seems that is one bliks....they're gone

Nice Trillium. Not sure what the light was like but the petals seem a little on the cool side. These do turn purple as the blossom ages but this one seems pretty fresh. Could be the monitor I'm on though, I'm not in front of the Super Monitor.
