Real nice picture Craig, I really like the inclusion of the leaves and the way the bright plumage of the Tanager's feathers contrast with the darker hue of the blue background :^)

The bird really does shine in this shot Craig. I like the comp with the habitat. The bird looking off works for me because I like the fact the bird is not paying any attention to you. If this were mine, I might lighten the BG just a bit as it seems artificially dark to me. But that is just a suggestion on a nice image.

Gorgeous image of a gorgeous bird, Craig. In this case, I like the "looking away" pose.

They are gorgeous birds and you've captured lovely detail here Craig. I only wish for a bit of a head turn but nothing you can do about that. :toast:

Just beautiful. That pop of light occurred in just the right location to highlight this birds gorgeous feathers and color. I like the darkness of the background. Makes it that much more rich.

Beautiful Craig. The wonderful colors make up for not being able to see the tail well. The head angle works just fine for me in this situation.
