This image is from this past autumn. I never really considered processing it at first as it was just a leafy ground image. But then I needed an image for my recent blog article
"Old Cameras, New Techniques - New Cameras No Techniques"and recalled how much went into making and preparing this image.
The amount of detail in this image is staggering and I wanted to post a larger version here as well, but I could not get it down to posting limits without bashing all the detail I wanted to show. You can view the detailed 1200 pixel image on the blog by clicking on the smaller image there.
4x5, 150mm, Fuji Provia 100F, Tony's Luminosity and Saturation Masks.
Your feedback much appreciated.

I love it. Gives me ideas....
I really like the wetness and also the progression of stages as you go from the top layer of newly fallen leaves to the older and finally decaying leaves at the very bottom.
Great processing as well.
I may leave a comment on your blog in the very near future....

BTW - I also read your blog and found it very interesting. I have used film from around 1970 to 2004 35mm to 4X5. I especially miss my medium format camera though. .......and yes, there a tendency to shot a lot more with digital, but I usually only do that in places I love dearly...... Cape Breton and Maine. Thanks for the link to your blog. I was also interested in peoples reaction to your "old" film camera. Very enlightening.
