Love the buttery color against the blue and I think your dof decision is very effective. My only suggestion would be to clone out the sepal as Bill has already suggested. Beautiful image.

Very interesting choice of background color. It gives it a very unique look in my opinion. The DoF is wonderful and the overall comp is nicely done.
