Nice, Steve. I like the focal points of the flowers in the foreground and the rock (or whatever it is) in the background. Sky looks a little uneven in the URC, but that might be the jpg.

Steve,
I'll have to echo what Tony said about the FG flowers and the BG tree. My only suggestion would be to dial back the cyan just a bit. Just a suggestion of course.

I think this would look better with a very slight vignette..comp and sharpness look very good!

Steve, you captured a scene that maybe many of us pass by every day and made an appealing image out of this. I especially like the interplay of vertical and horizontal lines, as well as the way you counterpoint the flowers in the near to the lonesome tree in the distance.

Wonderful sense of place and excellent capture of it. the fg blooms are a great lead in and the lone tree in the bg really anchors the image for me. Nice job

Interesting tension between the near and far. My first thought was I'd like to see a comp with the foreground flowers closer to the lens and a little less close to the bottom edge to compare, but this may be the more interesting comp. I really like the one lone tree tucked into the fold of the hill. (It looks a tad cyan on my monitor too.)

Wonderful near/far relationship, love the dip in the landscape ul with the tree as a focal point, the tree seems to keep my eye in the image instead of running out of the scene through the sky, well done :toast:
