Gear: Sony a900 w/ Zeiss 24-70mm f/2.8
Settings: 24mm @ f/16, 5 sec exposure @ ISO 100, Custom WB, Single Shot w/ 3 stop ND, shot in RAW

I shot this in mid May on Ruby Beach in Washington. It was taken on a trip I made with some fellow photographers including Jack Garrett.

I really like how the color and light in this image gives imbues a sense of tranquility.

Nice first post! Welcome!
Very peaceful and serene scene here. The subdued colours are really nice, and I like the silhouetted rocks and grasses.
The darker areas on the right and bottom don't contribute anything, imo, so I'd suggest experimenting with a pano crop - with the lower edge a little below that blip in the sand, and the right edge about halfway between the right rock and the present edge.
You have a good eye - looking forward to more from you!

Sweet light and colors. I like the reflection of the light in the sand and water. I think Sandy has some good suggestions.

Wonderful colors in the scene and the reflections are quite nice. Overall, the inky black feel a bit excessive and I'm wondering about maybe cropping some form the left.

Welcome to the forums, BTW, Jason. The images on your website have some nice light situations. You seem to be out there when the good light happens.

Welcome Jason! Sweet light here! I love the deep color in the sand reflection. I agree with Sandy and Tony about the dark left.

Welcome to NPN Jason. I think the colors are real nice here. I'd personally crop the right side a little - I just don't think it offers much to the overall scene. I like the comp + think it could have possibly been improved had the two sea stacks in the middle of the scene not overlap. Overall, a quality first post. Hope to see more.
