Rocky seabed, Saltwick

Another image from my evening at Saltwick Bay last week - this taken a little later than the first one I posted but still about 15 mins before sunset. I used the 24 TSE for this, shifted down a fair bit. I've never seen rock formations quite like these but I find them fascinating and intend to get back there for another low tide to see what else can be done.

Interesting rock forms under an ominous but beautiful sky Lizzie. I like the mix of yellow rock and blue water as well as the hint of red and yellow on the horizon and also a bit of rain.

Not sure why this hasn't had more feedback Lizzie. Certainly plenty to look at and like in this, the overall colour is great and very interesting patterns in the foreground rock and all topped off with a wonderful sky.

Gary.

Thank you very much Eva and Gary - the ominous clouds are probably a little more accentuated than normal because I used ND grads here - noone here in the UK makes a decent (imo) reverse ND grad so you tend to end up with the uppermost clouds a bit darker than the reality. Normally I blend exposures but sometimes it's not practical and in fact I like the effect in this instance.
