Another image captured over the side of a small boat on the Okavango Delta, Botswana.

This is a juvenile African Jacana and is at least twice to three times as large as the other species I posted previously, the Lesser Jacana.

Techs:
Canon 7D with 300mm f2.8 L IS USM
f4.0 @ 1/2000 SS @ ISO-800

I like the low angle, view of the long toes, the indentation in the pad bearing the weight of the bird and the nice light.

sweet light and a great pose with the view of the huge foot. I'd be tempted to somewhat darken the white blossom at right, as it draws the eye.

I love when we capture water this looks somewhat metallic like this. That foot is huge! and you got it just right.

Great moment, Morkel. I like the position of the feet and the light is great. The low angle works perfectly with the depressed leaf.

A nicely dynamic shot in very good light. The sag in the lily pad gives us a sense of weight and size.

This is very nice Morkel. Really like the light on the jacuna, that huge raised foot and the depressed lily pad. Your low angle is quite effective.

Wonderful timing to get this, really interesting to see it walking on the lily pads with the low angle, well done.

Beautiful light. I love the lifted leg and it's stance on the lily pad. Well done.
