Perfect light and exposure!
Nice detail in the tough whites, a great pose, and the grasses and BG are also excellent.
Simple and very elegant.
Well done!

Exactly what I would expect from you... killer background, nice "plugs" of grass and an enticing pose from this beautifully exposed and detailed bird.

Superb image, David. The essence of grace and elegance. The low angle and the wispy tufts of grass really set of the Egret.

An exceptional image in every way Dave. I agree with at least four others who have used the word "elegant" to apply to this image. I love everything about this photo. Superbly done.

The lighting and colors are great here David, I also like how the grass seems to be spread evenly about the bottom. :toast:

Wow David, I really like the overall composition on this one, excellent detail all the way through, good job on those difficult whites, the pose and background add the finishing touch, the larger image was a pleasure to view, way to go.

Beautiful soft light image. Snowys are hard not to be lovely in any setting, but I really like the minimalist ground going on here.
