Feathery Daisy

This is the last shot in the Daisy series I was working on last month.
I wanted to illustrate the flow of the petals in this, instead of detail like in my previous Daisy post. I left the gaps in because I feel there is an importance to how they weave with the background and didn't stack because I wanted to give a wispy feel to the overall comp.

Minor cloning for small spots
Processing in Nik Color Efex Pro.

C&C and thanks for viewing.

You achieved your desired effect well Casey, it definitely has a "feathery" or "wispy" light feel or look..
Great POF, exposure, and color - Well done!

I like the wispy feel that you have with this photo. I like your comp, DOF choice, and the simplicity of this image. Well done.

Another beauty Morgan. I like everything about it, including your decision not to stack. Love the color and the graphic quality of the image, even with the blur. Very fine work for my tastes.

Morgan, Excellent POV for the center and the chosen aperture works perfectly for me here  - Frontal petals still have definition and lead the eyes clearly to the in focus areas of the center.

There is a whispy feel to this, but with a purpose. Those OOF petals pull the view right into this image.
