Great photo, Todd. I like the contast of colors, textures, and diagonal lines. I think it would help to clone out the dirt and spots on the leaf and fronds. Really like the comp of this.

Hi Todd. I really like the simplicity in this image. The colours, which are almost luminous, work well and the detail in the fern is great. I find the yellow leaf a little large in relation to the fern leaves to the point that it dominates the frame a little too much. Pulling back a touch might have alleviated this I'm guessing (but I suspect that wasn't possible).

I like the composition Todd. I also like the detail you captured in the fronds. I suppose I would clone out the brown spots although I'm not sure about that. The light seems just a touch bright and intrusive to me on the leaf and I might darken the leaf a touch. It's a good looking image and the colors are striking together.

Nice comp and details. I like the reality of it, spots and all. Studio artists can set up perfection, but this is Nature. If some of the white spots are distracting, I could see cloning out some, but I would not go farther than that. The only thing that I can think of that would improve it in my mind would be to darken the yellow leaf just a touch.

Lovely, Todd . I like the diagonals of the fern and the angular placement of the yellow leaf. Simple but effective

Todd: I like the comp and colors and for me the spots don't detract. I do think I would like to see the details in the leaf a bit crisper. Not sure if that's a DOF issue or a processing/sharpening problem. Well seen. >=))>

Very nice comp Todd,
i too wud clone out the spots & burn a bit of the brightness in the leaf
i also think that there is a bit of diffraction because of the aperture or maybe it's just me

I like the diagonal lines and mix of warm and cool colors. I might be tempted to darken the BG even more than it is to completely hide the fronds underneath.

Ok Todd, to me this is a natural as it is image, well seen or placed, and well captured. Well done.
