An image of a Satyrinae butterfly, probably a Maniola jurtina- Taken early in the morning, on a sunny day - Natural light, selective sharpening, cropped for composition.
Nikon D300s; Sigma 180mm; ISO 250; F8; 1/125; tripod
All comments welcome, Fabio

Splendid image all around. Especially like that you caught this BF on such picturesque blossums. Thumbs up Fabio.

Lovely all the way around, Fabio! Perfect detail on the butterfly and it's perch. The background is pleasant and a good complement to the subject. My only nit is the OOF blossom, which I believe could be partially removed in a tighter crop.

Wonderful tones and exquisite detail in the butterfly and the flower and the dew drops.
I agree with Phil about the crop. A 2x3 vertical, taking some off both sides would be great.

Fabio, really nice detail on the b-fly and primary flower. Nice BG. The oof bloom is a bit distracting - I'd also experiement with a tighter crop to remove some of it.

Nice shot, Fabio! I like the great detail on the butterly; he has an interesting face. Wonderful blurred BG and great comp. I also agree with a slight crop off the right side.

Hi, thanks for nice comments- I repost a more cropped version (I tried both before posting, but I prefer the squared comps with this subject)- Thanks again, Fabio

Very nice light and focus Fabio. I like the cropped repost removing that distracting OOF blossom. Lovely light on those wings!

Tastefully done, Fabio - not particularly bothered by the slightly OOF flower near the right edge.
