Well, whatever you call it, I like this very much John. I particularly like the pattern of light and shadow.
I thought that "contre jour" - French against the day (light implied) was back lighting though. Am I mistaken or is this a filter? I'm assuming "Aimple" above is just mis-keyed "Simple" but maybe it's a proper name and I'm wrong. It wouldn't be the first time today. (smile)
All of this aside, it's a beautiful image.

Hi John
My first reaction when I open this was 'harsh light' but the image seem to grow on me as I study it closely. Creative use of light.

Excellent paterns. Nice contrast to black BG. I like the composition but wish it would a bit darker. On my monitot the light is too strong. Nicely done John

The lighting creates some very interesting patterns on and of these blooms. IMO you've done an excellent job of using the strong light in a creative and effective manner. Great image

The color and comp are nice. But I looked at it for a while and the light still seems a bit harsh.

Nice capture of backlit fireweed. Maybe difficult for some to appreciate if they haven't seen the real thing. This is an effective capture of the real deal. Both versions work for me. Love the shadowed BG. Nicely done.
