Sandy:
Fabulous shallow focus abstract! Like the yellow purple and green in this white wash. Nicely done.

Sandy, beautiful abstract! The DoF is just right in my opinion and those colors are wonderful.

No complaints Sandy. Composition (dof, placement, plane of focus) are as good as it gets. Superb image.
I could as an alternative image see a crop from bottom and top that eliminated the stem and took the aspect ratio to 4:5 - not an improvement though, just an alternative.

Again a very artistic image. The only thing is the green stem is a little distracting for me.

Very nice Sandy I especially like the creamyness of the center stamen? pistol? Whatever it is, you know what I mean. I might lose the stem but it's not a deal breaker.

Just beautiful, Sandy! I like the soft colors and the way they wash together. Has a very peaceful feels to it. Good DOF on the center of the flower. I agree with Pat's suggestion of a crop up from the bottom. I find the stem and the very edges of the petals a little distracting. But also great as is!
