Common Sunflower
by Charlie Baugh
Common Sunflower, Helianthus annuus. Though not as commonly known as the "Russian Giant" sunflower which is grown for its seeds that birds, people, squirrels, ect. love, the native Americans ground the seed of this native plant for bread flour and oil used for cooking and "for hair dressing" (or so says my guide).

What kind of sunflower? It's beautiful, and different than others I've seen.
Excellent light, fine detail, nice comp, and perfect BG.
