Flint River

Kayaking down the South Branch of the Flint River I came across this nice little surprise. Not any rapids around these parts so having a little water crashing over the rocks was a fun little thing to photograph. Seeings that I was running about three hours behind schedule I didn't have much time. (In a hurry, but I didn't know why)

I recently purchased a Canon G12 to have more convenience while kayaking instead of using my SLR.

Program Priority, in camera ND filter setting "ON", .3sec, F/5.6, ISO 100, RAW conversion.

Thanks for looking and all C&C welcomed.

I like this image. I like the flow of the water, the reflection on the water and the foreground rock just under the water. Great comp.

Well seen some really interesting textures and patterns here. My only gripe are some of the very hot blown out areas in the water.

Nice color and light over all. I have to agree with Kah regarding the hottest areas in the water.

Nice sense of flow. I like the green reflections and the neat little swirls above the rocks.

Neat shot of these "mini" rapids John..I would think that if you're kayaking on the river, the whole purpose would be to lose all track of time
TFS this one! :toast:
