I really like! A clear distinct subject flower and it's context in the overall surroundings. And your choice of a "not perfect" specimin, is a touch or artistry. :jump:

Wonderful pov and dof. The subject bloom really stands out from its counterparts and the softness in the rest of the image is lovely.

Love the plane of focus and dof decision John. Perfect title. Rich color. Sweet light. An appealing mood. Very fine work. I suppose you could crop in a little on each side so as to emphasize the dancer a bit more but it starts to become a different image then, also.

Love it!
The one flower sharp and the rest nicely-blurred is perfect.
Nice choices here.
Not the smallest nit from me -

Beautifully done, John ! This makes a fine composition and yet seems wholly ` natural ' - and your lone dancer really catches the eye !
