I made my annual foray up Hell's Hole trail along Chicago Creek for the wildflowers weekend before last and it was it's usual bountiful beautiful self.

5d, 28-135mm w/macro, tripod, difffuser, polarizer,

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

Very pretty, refreshing image. The flower is beautifully set against the natural BG. Well done.

Looks like you encounter some rain? The color in the petals looks great. I might perhaps darkened the bg in the RUC. Otherwise nice as posted.

Rich color and sweet light Morris. Perfect dof and plane of focus control on the droplet. Very appealing mood and a very fine image for my tastes.

Perfect DOF as well
I m having a bit of problem with the LUC maybe u can tone it down by a bit so that it doesn't seek much attention

I like the feel of this image and agree with the comments about the URC and the ULC. Otherwise a great image.

That water drop makes the shot for me, Morris  - good advise on darkening the ULC (even though I see Upper right being mentioned by others).

Nice shot Morris. The composition is great and the colors are gorgeous. And the bg is very nice also.

Morris: I think I need to come visit. I'm in a serious wildflower withdrawal panic since this year was almost a total bust here due to our drought conditions. I particularly like the subtle colors in the petals and the drop is a huge plus element IMO. Well seen and superbly captured you lucky duck   >=))>
