Another Blue Grosbeak from Bombay Hook earlier this month. This one has a beetle to share with his family.

Sharon, the pose, perch and bird colors are great against the soft, colorful bg. The bug of course, is a plus. It might be the feather detail where its mixed blue and grey, but it seems the larger version is a tad over sharpened.

Beautiful iridescence in the bird. It appears that he has chosen a perfectly matched beetle to bring to the portrait session. Lovely detail and the background is great.

Nice one Sharon, nice unique BG colors. I'm wondering what it is that made those colors.

Beautiful background colors Sharon, lovely eye contact and nice action with the food in the bill. The blues look very natural to my eye. I like the pose and the comp you used.

Gary...the bg is marsh grasses with some mixed wildflowers. I just love the colors of the marsh!
