Great pose and wing position!
Good detail, sats, and BG.
The eye is pretty flat; perhaps you could bring out some detail with a selective levels adjustment.
Nice image!

Ken, Really like the wing position and combined with the crossed legs it makes for a very interesting overall pose. Sharpness and exposure look good. I do wish for some light in the eye though.

The pose makes the shot for me. Not only the great wing spread, but the crossed leg as it's coming towards you. Beautifully done.

It's the 2 X's formed by the wings and legs that really make this for me. Lots of motion, good detail and color.

Love the pose, wing position and the crossed legs. Nice setting, exposure and light. I also wish for some light in the eye. The golds in the mud complements the same tones in the bird's coloration and the cool blues work very nicely too.

Love the wing flash to spook up dinner and the dynamic appeal of the bird at peak action is nice. Great techs on this one. Well done.

Thanks a lot for your comments, I have to admit to being extremely lucky to get this, as this is the only frame I have of this action.
I agree that the eye could do with a little more sparkle, lifting it with a selective mask just does not work as it becomes extremely blocky.
