@Bill,
i think we sud change the name of the weekly theme to 'Trees from Middle Earth' :biggrin:

So after seeing all the fascinating tree images i dug up my archive to find 1, & i did :wink:
This was shot back in 2008 at a mountain top after a grilling 8 hrs trek with a ascend of over 5000ft my wife was giving me a mouthful (as it was her first trek ever & she got damm tired) & rains started to come in as soon as i finished the shot & it was a nightmare getting down

Av- 11, Tv- 160, ISO- 400, tripod
added a sepia filter in photoshop

The silhouette are very interesting and the fact that you can see some of the mountains in the distance adds a lot of depth. The soft pink light is a great addition.

Nice framing made even better by the nice light and dramatic BG.

Gorgeous image Krunal. Wonderful light on a superb subject. Masterfully composed and presented. As a nit, I might clone out the leaves on the viewer's right in the upper third of the image that are coming in on the edge.

Glad you dragged yourself up there and captured the image to share. :wink: Your wife probably still doesn't think so, but we do! Very nicely seen and captured.

Krunal: Ditto what Pat said. This is very well seen and captured. Hope the experience didn't sour your wife on trekking. Well done.>=))>

I like this a lot. The lighting is perfect and compliments the near silhouetted tree well. I also like the near / far contrast which seems to emphasize the scale of the background mountains as if they are so large they can't fit in the frame.

Krunal:
This is a very beautiful image. The silhouette of trees are nicely framed by the mountains in the bg. I like the sepia effect too. Just a minor suggestion is perhaps toning down the bright sky near the top.

I really like the framing of the distant Bg by the trees. Your efforts were well rewarded in my opinion.

Interesting lines here really make the eye wander around the image. I like the way the tree trunk anchors the subject on the right side of the frame and the branchs seem to burst out into the open sky as if trying to escape.. Nicely done.

The designs of the branches stir the imagination. I love the color of the background too, Krunai.
Take care.
