hi everyone,

i have took this image while i been in Oman (Slalah) last year with my dear friend Abdulaziz bin Ali. The weather was too bad for shooting and full of fog & no sun light to get a proper contrast. so i tried to work as much as i can to get a (not bad) result. hope you will enjoy it. any suggestions are welcome indeed will help & improve.

Olympus EPL1,14-150mm M.Zouiko @ (14mm), ISO 100

Thanks in Advance

Nice colors even without the sun. The fog adds the drama and the waves interact nicely. Well done for these kinds of conditions.

Hi Hamed, I think this is really quite nice. I like the mood that the fog and mist add to this. The water looks great and you even have some light on the cliffs. I held some paper over the ground in the foreground and liked it even better, so a crop might work good too, but that is just a thought. I think you did very well! I like it.

I like the mood of the image. It has that "angry sea" feeling. The only thing I might try is cropping even more off the bottom, maybe up close to the grass.

The very warm light, despite the thick overcast conditions, feels right for the location. There seems to be a halo along the edge of the foreground, but I still like that area as a base for the image - a jumping off point, figuratively.

I love the image and its foggy gloominess. Way to go Hamed! :toast:

There might be room here for a "Color Balance" tweak?

There are great moods created in your photograph- a definite contrast between the dark, forbodding foreground and the bright background. Good composition, though would agree with the idea of cropping a bit off the bottom.

Nice coastal scene and the fog adds a lot of drama. I also like the various colors of the landscape. Nicely done.

I think this works pretty well without the foreground. Very nice as a pano/semi pano, IMO!

Love the mood here. Fog and mist are magical conditions, and must have been an interesting change for a desert dweller like you! If this were mine, I would consider trying a much cooler / bluer rendition.

I like the broodiness- dark and foggy. Maybe add a little vignette? I would prefer the image without the bottom foreground.
