Tough Love

She took her cubs down to the beach to dig for clams. One of the cubs showed little interest in the process but wanted a share of the spoils whenever its mom/sibling dug up a clam. She couldn't put up with the pestering and swung a paw full of mud and clam at the little one

Must have been a very captivating moment, Anand, and the spray of water is nice, but it is a pity that the faces are not seen. The partly hidden gull is also a bit distracting, imo.

I like this very much as is Anand. A bit of explanation on your part is helpful to understand what we are seeing. I haven't seen anything like this before. :toast: :toast:

Really neat scene, too bad the faces aren't visible. I must admit though, I think the photo you linked to in your explanation is much better. Thanks for sharing!

Nice image Anand; your story helps to explain whats going on, but the misty mood and the splashing mud makes for a very attractive image even without the faces/eyes showing. The half visible duck just behind mom is a bit unfortunate though.

I like the action and the arc of that water, but still miss seeing the faces.

Like the simplicity and atmosphere. The reflection and the "fog" contributes a lot.
A little bit of action as well.
