2nd in the series. This is a different type of Daylily in the sense that it has more petals growing from the inside as if a daylily is growing inside a daylily.

The pinkish wash at the top is the OOF rendition of an offending petal - these are thick petals and cannot be pushed back - apply more force, they simply break. Not something you want to do.
Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions on
Daylily Abstract version one and do let me know if this one finds any favour with you.

18 commentsWhat can I say? You just keep posting masterpieces one after another. The red wash works well and I think you have made good use of the offending petal. I am wondering about perhaps a small sliver more canvas along the bottom edge but this is really so minor its probably not worth mentioning.
I also agree a bit more room at the bottom would be even better.
Joyous!

I'm undecided about the blur at the top from the thick petals but still find the image very appealing. I've no problem with the space at the bottom. For my tastes, being somewhat blur averse, i think I might prefer the image cropped from the top as a pano. However, it's striking as posted.
