Symbiotic Cypress

From yesterday in Jean Lafitte NP. I liked the variety of color against the reddish tones of the cypress trunk. Apologies for the large file even at this size, but compression was really killing this.

Glad to see you posting in the Flora Gallery, Bill  . Beautiful photo of the Cypress Tree Bark which shows terrific muted tones and gorgeous textures. I also like the corner to corner sharpness in the frame :wavey:

Bill,

I don't remember commenting on one of your images in this gallery before, so welcome to the Flora Gallery. Very fine texture in this but also a well balanced, harmonious composition. A very appealing image, I'd have printed and on my wall in the blink of an eye. I hope you'll post more images over here with us.

Bill: Well seen and captured. This is one image that would have really benefited form posting a 1200 pixel version. Terrific textures. >=))>
