The Taiga/Boreal Forest of Arctic Norway is often surrounded by dramatic mountains shaped by glacial periods that have occured many times in this region.
24mm - f11 - 1/25 sec. Captured around 9 PM last week.

Great mix of mountains, rock and forest. Looks like a great place to shoot with lots of potential.
Thanks for sharing Svein

Classic comp. I have a strong urge to see more of the purple flowers and detail in the grasses. I am also wondering how this would look as a black and white rendition. I guess what I am trying to say is that I would either love to see more of the grassy area or more of the glowing mountain.

Hi Svein,
I like the composition of the tree with the rocks and the mountains on the right.
The diagonal clouds in the image are a plus.
I think the rocks on the right in the lower half are a negative but I have no suggestions. If you crop, you lose the charm of the 24mm lens. One suggestion might be to crop the lower third but I'm not sure.
Regards,
Carol

I would love to see this larger Svein-Frode! Pleasant light on the mountains and, for my tastes, I would open the shadows up a little to bring those lovely flowers out a little more. Would love to see more from this area!

Pleasant image with a nice highlight on the interesting peak. Wonder if this might work even better with light coming from the opposite direct to catch the other side.
