The harsh light adds a lot of texture in the foreground sand and I actually don't mind the deep shadows on the formations. I would like to see this with less sky above the rock formations and more of that dramatic foreground sand leading to the rock formations. This is very good as presented but maybe these suggestions help for the next time you are in the field. Thanks for sharing!!

Beautiful light and the ripples in the sand form a nice lead in. I might crop a little off the top of the sky since it does not add too much here. Otherwise a classic, well composed image.

Classic beauty. Only thought would maybe be to crop a bit off the top to focus more on the warm-colored elements.

I agree about a slight crop, and maybe a tiny boost in the shadows. Great fg patterns and nice color contrasts! :wavey:

I like the strong ripples in the foreground and the side light on the rocks. I also would like to see a bit more detail in the shadows, but this is a fine image as presented.
