Industrial Skeleton

by Emil von Maltitz

Gallery: Man & NaturePosted August 10, 201145 views5 comments
I was shooting an industrial project for a client last year and kept on finding myself being drawn to this tree. The trunk on it's own had an almost skeletal look, especially when contrasted with the rusting iron sides of an old warehouse.

Tech: D700 with 16-35mm lens on a tripod. 0.3 sec at f11 on ISO 200.

Any c and c always welcome and appreciated
Thanks for looking

Such a great contrast between nature and man here Emil! I find these types of images to draw me in! If it I might try and boost the contrast some on this and even maybe the saturation here too to draw out the colors more in the metal. :toast: :toast:

This a very stark feeling image. It is like the tree is being taken over by the building.

Nice one. I like the contrast between nature and industry here and the monochromatic color palette.
