From a couple of weeks ago in Gulfport. I liked the stride and the soft afternoon lighting in the surroundings.

Olympus E-3 ZD300 F2.8 +EC20 Wimberley I, ISO 400 1/1200 f5.7 0.0EV,
cropped to 3:2 from 4/3rds original.

I like the setting, the plumage, the open bill, the raised foot.
The willet is one of my favorites. They are modest and unassuming, and go about their business with quiet confidence.
Good picture.

I like the gray and blue colors in this - very restful.

This is a very appealing image. I like the pose, light, colors, and the rippled sand. Well done. :toast: Sharon

nice, Bill. I like the open bill and raised foot, the mid-molt plumage, and the textures in the sand.

The soft light and smooth sand/water combo really do make this a relaxing image. Good detail where needed, also. Nice one, Bill.
