I know for most the Fly is gross! However, I have always wanted to get on of these but they rarely hold still. I think it turned out ok. Thought I would take a chance and share. Hope no one is grossed out :)

Looks like a good job on the fly, Lynn. It always helps if you can post a larger version also.

Hey, some flies are pretty interesting. This one looks like a green bottle fly, one of those that does eat smelly stuff and dead critters, but somebody has to clean up those carcasses.

I like your composition, but I think it would look a lot better with a LOT less color saturation.
