This nursery web spider would not drop its meal, even after I clumsily bumped the plant and knocked the spider off the flower where it caught the fly. (As you can see by the date on the photo, it's an old one that I never got around to posting.)

Nicely done, Wayne. Tough DOF at such a range. You can still see the pollen on the fly.

Excellent detail, Wayne. The eyes (I believe 8 on this one) are as sharp and defined as I've ever seen. You've got to dig down some more, Wayne.
