Early Morning

Early Morning Cedar Canyon looking east. This has been a hot summer, so I have been getting out well before sunrise and have been doing most of my shooting in early morning light. I like this image because this is not what most people think about when they think about Nebraska. All comments and critiques are appreciated.

You're right...not at all what I think of Nebraska.
Nice light, and I like the way the trees frame the foreground and the pano. crop you chose.
Windblown dust or haze in the background?

Lovely morning feel to this! The white sky is the only minor nit to this image.

pleasing image, Richard. I like the morning directional back/sidelighting and the mixture or trees and grasses.

I really don't think of a view like this from Nebraska, Richard. Only getting to know it better now because of your images. Great looking country that you captured very well. I'm thinking this must be in the western part of the state? I enjoy seeing these scenes you show us. Nice work Richard.

I also would not have placed this in Nebraska. A lovely, subdued shot that captures well the atmosphere of a summer morning.

I like this. I have been enjoying your images. I live on the East side of the state, and don't get to make it out there too often. Keep them coming, and show everybody else what Nebraska has to offer.
