Digitalis Grandiflora

I've been unable to ID this wildflower. Ideas? Neat hairs/fringes show in larger version.

Nikon D300; 300mm; f8@ 1/160th; ISO 500; HH; approx. 90%FF.

All comments and suggestions most welcome - ID would be most helpful!

EDIT: Thanks for identifying this for me, Mauro!

Tom: Solid comp and capture and a pretty good result considering your SS with a long lens. I might like this just a touch better cropped from the bottom to 4:5 ratio. Nicely done.>=))>

Good looking image Tom. The 300mm does a great job of isolating your subject. I particularly like the gradient effect in the lower part of the image.

Very nice isolation against that dark BG Tom. Nice portrait!

Fabulous shot. Good exposure of the white and nice gradient lighting in the bg. :toast:

I too think this is a variety of Fox Glove, more like wild Fox Glove. No nits from me, a text book perfect portrait.

Tom,

Fantastic details - the highlights and backlighting really shine here. This just terrific. Wonderfully set apart from a nice bg. Excellent work.
