Hi all.

Another cram shot to get feedback on. I am really enjoying all of the different views that these little Blue Zephyr Swan River Daisies can take on.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Gorgeous! Beautiful, soft colours and the lilac and yellow are marvelous together.

Very fine image for my tastes Nathan. Strong comp and beautiful color. This one needs to be printed and hanging on someone's wall.

You are such a master at these crams, we just might have to start calling you Obi-Wan. Were but my dreams half this good.

Stronger composition and a much subtler wash (from the cram) looks a lot more appealing in this version than the previous to me, Nathan. Just the right DOF for the rim of that yellow pollen for the flower.

Lovely work

Nathan,

I'd say, great job and attention to detail! What I mean is that where you've focused on the details, that's the focal point and the image is well grounded in the composition sense. The colors are just luscious and the soft focus everywhere else just brings out the tiny details even more.

Minor nit - you might want to clone out the sensor spot or whatever that darker circle thingy is near the bottom, right of the oof stem. Other than that, gorgeous.

Impressive comp, Nathan. Its all in how you make the viewer's eye travel from the left side petals and then up to the yellow of the right flower. The space beneath each flower effectively balances the image, also.

I like this one a lot, Nathan! The slightest nit is that I'd crop a millimeter off the top so the tip of the petal is more intentionally cut off. Ask my husband, I'm nuts about the tips touching...my OCD, I guess! This is probably my second favorite out of the group!

I wish I'd had as much success cramming for exams as you have with these flower shots. Really pleasing soft color throughout, contrasted by points of sharp focus. Really nice.

Your usual elegant style shines through here, Nathan ! The composition produces a lovely interplay between the two blooms.

Nathan: This is a home run for me. The plane of focus is compelling since you caught the center of one flower and a petal edge of the other. Superbly crafted image. >=))>

This is nice too, Nathan but in the previous one there was less of the background showing which was a positive there. Here I like seeing more of the main flower compared to the WP one. Tough call, really.

May be I'll escape by saying both shots have solid merits :toast:
