Lake Isabelle

There were no clouds to be found this morning so I came back the next weekend only to find this scene to be non existent! Isabelle is an irrigation lake and apparently is drained every year in late August, so if you wanted to capture this you'll have to wait till next year.

Nicely composed. I wish for clouds, but I understand the dilemma.

I like the composition. Maybe just a titch more contrast, but that's just a matter of taste. Nice image.

Really nice composition. I wish there were a more interesting sky......I love the soft flowing water. Maybe a bit more contrast.

Thanks guys, here's a version with a bit more contrast which helped bring out the small amount of thin clouds above pawnee peak

Some very appealing scenery here and nicely composed. I like the extra contrast in the water in the 2nd version but not the everything else looks too contrasty.

This looks fine to me, David. Glad you got it before it ran dry.

To me this has that unnatural HDRish feel to it, the shadows are to bright, and it could use some selective contrast adjustments. I like the contrast of the water in the second post, but everything else appears to contrasty. A few tweaks and this image will shine, I like your comp a lot.
