Really nice Stephen. Love the overall comp and the details and sharpness in the larger image look very good. Neat bird.

Beautiful! Wonderful detail and the grasses add a lot. You may wish to consider cropping some off the top to lose the sky. That brighter area in the URC pulls the eye a bit.

Beautiful bird beautifully photographed. Love the rich rust colors against the dried grass. You managed a perfect low angle. I like the bit of blue sky at the top, one of the things I appreciated right away - sorry Peter, we'll just have to disagree.

Love the angle you took this at Steve. Not easy to get a field shot like this and make it look so uncluttered. Love the color, exposure and sharpness of this. I also like the alert look he is giving you.

Thanks guys, with all the excellent posting on here, you never know.

Peter I had considered a tighter crop eliminating the blue, but kept it in for feedback, as I have the IQ I can crop tighter.

Thanks again, very much appreciate the feedback. :wavey:

Great capture, Steve. The background colors compliment the Grouse really well and I like the composition showing just a touch of the sky. Very well done.
