Afon Gwynant
by Gary McGhee
I spent most of saturday up in the hills near Cadir Idris, Snowdonia, North Wales but got beaten back by the weather. I decided to take shelter in a small wooded area called Coed Y Gribin where this narrow river runs through.
Hope you like the shot. All feedback is welcome and thanks for looking.
Cheers, Gary.

15 commentsI think this is just fine as is, but also like just a little of the top cropped off. That is just a thought as an option and not really a critique. Cheers!

Morris, I'm a Scotsman living in England and do most of my photography in North Wales. I'm sure the locals laugh when I try and pronounce some of the place names.
The place with the longest name in Wales is Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, try and have a go at that one.
Cheers, Gary.
Just a lovely streamside image. I really like the water treatment and I really think that just avoiding the 50-50 split really makes for a strong composition here. No nits from me. Very enjoyable to view. Wish I was there.
