Valentia Island cloudy evening catching the waves
Now this time no lighthouse so no problem with posting in a wrong gallery

This photo was taken during the photo trip to Ireland to Kerry Co.

A very pretty and dynamic scene. Love the wave, and the water spilling back into the ocean on the right.

Very nice composition and mood and I love the way you captured that wave. The large version looks uniformly over sharpened. Gorgeous place and wonderful capture.

Thank you for your comments. Indeed it looks like when I was exporting the image from Lightroom it was oversharpened. I will have to correct it :)

I really like this image! It has a very nice feel that I enjoy very much. You captured that one wave just right!. It all works really nice! Great comp too. I agree with Michael about the sharpening, but you already know that.

I like the scene and the darker sky created by the filter. The sense of a vast open space comes through here, and it makes me feel small compared to Nature as a whole, which is quite accurate, of course.

What happened to the lighthouse?? It's gone!

I really like this image and what makes the image complete for me is the simple, yet perfectly timed capture of the wave. For me that just makes this image. Beautiful coast, a great and somewhat gloomy sky and nice depth with the distant mountains. The only suggestion I have would be some selective contrast adjustments - basically just tweaking an boosting the contrast mostly in the bg andscape and sky. The coastal rocks look good.

Well done - beautifully captured.
