Very nice sunrise colors. I like the intense look on his face, as if he's spotted breakfast. Nice background.

Angela,
Did you get some good light or what. Beautiful. What an intense stare. Feather detail is superb and the composition with the head and beak pointing straight down to the corner is perfect for me. Background really sets the whole image off. Very nice Angela. :toast:

Wonderfail shot Angela. Coaxing these birds out from there grass security is a great capture and your technique did it justice.

Angela, Wonderful pose and details. It does seem a bit red I might be tempted to back off of them a hair even though they are probably the colors you saw. Excellent sharpness for HH and you did a great job with the beautiful BG. Nice work!

Thank you. Denise, here is a repost at -3 on reds-just a touch. I thought they were intense-but as was seen because of the early sun, I think. Since I hadn't increased the saturation, I was hesitant to decrease it.

Angela, I think it looks good. I sometimes have to pull back on the reds too, even though that is how they were shot.

Excellent Angela. I really like how the toes bend neatly over the edge of the perch.

A really nice comp Angela. I like the repost better. reds look more natural to me. Very ncie sharpness and detail. This species can be very hard to get close to around here for some reason. I would love to have taken this.

Hi Angela, a classic pose of a lovely bird. Agree with Denise about pulling back the Reds & a little Saturation.

Sharpness is good, but the focus point looks to be on the neck/body rather than the eye, as that area looks a tad sharper to me?
