Green sandpiper
by David Sewell
It has been a good year for sandpipers at my local spot, with common and green in particular being very co-operative and taking it in turns to sit right in front of the hide. This is from a recent afternoon session when the sun was just starting to dip noticeably.
Thanks for looking.

8 commentsHave you considered the idea of adding a bit of canvas to the left so that you can complete the clipped circle of water surrounding the bird?

Nice one David, a bird that is high on my list, but as of yet I've failed to bag one. No nits from me.
