I found this moose enjoying abundant food in a keetle pond in Denali Park Alaska. She almost looks like she is smiling at you. I liked teh way this shot shows her brown and black coloring. Nikon D300 F6.3 1/200 ISO 500 Nikon 200-400 at 340mm

Comments and critiques always welcome. Always learning.

Thanks

Andrew

Thanks for the great suggestions. Boosted saturation slightly and turned the moose slightly. Any better ?

The dropping water is a wonderful component and the colors work well here. It appears to me that the image could use the slightest clock-wise rotation and perhaps a little more warmth.

Excellent!
That pose is killer, and the detail and environment top-notch. The water cascading off her chin is a great addition.
Needs a bit of CW rotation and perhaps a tad more contrast.
Really nice image! (Sure would like to see a larger version)

I love the way she is looking back and the water just pouring from her chin. I agree the colors could use a boost. I am never good at that level thing myself.

The falling water makes this shot. I like it. I agree you might experiment with rotation and you also might try to pull a little more detail from the show areas of the face. All in all, quite pleasing.

Hey Andrew,
I think the repost got it just right! The dripping water make this and the adjustments in the repost were the finishing touch!

Great position you have caught this cow moose in. The falling water adds to the scene. I like the way the FG and BG seem to frame the moose drawing your attention right where it should be. Thanks for sharing.
