Cool colors but the duck is centered for my tastes

Nice shot of this male mottled duck Cheryl. Love the colors in the water and the content "puddling" of the duck.

Excellent black duck shot. The low angle really works well. Love the water and drip off the ducks beak what is not to like! :toast:

Beautiful complimentary colors/setting here..Great details, color, and exposure Cheryl.
That single drop at the beak & the concentric ripples of the water make it very nice..
I guess you could try a bit off the bottom, but I think it's just fine as posted :toast:

I like the overall composition with the water ripple effect and reflection colors. I might compare a slight crop from the top just below the water line to only show water vs a little shoreline (if I am viewing the image correctly). The feather detail looks good on the larger version but the neck/head appear a little soft compared with rest of the body but I am not sure if this is due to lighter feather color or slight movement. The water drop coming off the beak and small water ripple within the larger the larger water ripple really add to the image, well done.

Glad your back Cheryl  The colors in the water are very attractive along with the rings and droplet. I dont' know this species of duck, so I'm not sure about the brighter head. All in all the photo looks good, very natural looking to me. Nice work!!!

I love the color of the water and the way the duck has its head bowed. That yellow bill stands out pleasantly from the other colors.

Cheryl that drop from the beak is great as are the ripples around the face.
I personally would have tried to crop out the grass in the top its a little distracting.
But a great shot :wavey: :toast:
