The Golden Gate
by Youssef Ismail
Bumping around the Marin Headlands yesterday I came upon a Kirby Cove with a great view of the bridge. I stayed until the sun went down and to my surprise the fog kept its distance. It allowed me time to make this 4 image pano stitch and a two series of 4x5 pano exposures before the fog started to encroach on the south tower.
Nikon D2x, 17-55mm @55mm f16 @ 30sec. PS CS3 for stitching and blending, and TK Masks for other work.
Your thoughts and critiques most appreciated.

Did you need f16 for this shot?
I think the subdued starbursts actually work better in this image than dramatic ones, it turns a wonderful postcard image ( with the big lightbursts ) into art IMHO. Sometimes a failed concept actually turns out better than the vision.
