Bumping around the Marin Headlands yesterday I came upon a Kirby Cove with a great view of the bridge. I stayed until the sun went down and to my surprise the fog kept its distance. It allowed me time to make this 4 image pano stitch and a two series of 4x5 pano exposures before the fog started to encroach on the south tower.

Here in California, even the man made stuff looks good.

Nikon D2x, 17-55mm @55mm f16 @ 30sec. PS CS3 for stitching and blending, and TK Masks for other work.

Your thoughts and critiques most appreciated.

Nice glow! It almost looks like you used an old soft focus lens.

The fog and water vapor in the air did their own magic on this one. Thanks Harley. I am looking forward to the 4x5 trannies.

Excellent, Youssef and the large photo is gorgeous, the individual lights of the city show up as well as the lights on the Bay Bridge, well done :toast:

Youssef,

A fine as GG Bridge I can recall seeing. Just fantastic. Make me want to go there. Heck probably just about an hours drive for me.

Lon,

The drive for me as also just over an hour. Care to meet up there? I want to retake my 4x5's. I have a uneasy feeling I might have underexposed them.
