These birds were fairly common in the grounds around the lodges where we stayed. They were noisy, argumentative and fun.

A really colorful image May. These are neat birds. Love the look at its spurs. Bird is tack sharp with superb detail. Nice BG too.

This is really cool May, what beautiful, beautiful plumage. There's such a wonderful mix of colors, and the eye is terrific.

The large looks terrific. Looks like a bit of a sharpening halo on the underside of the bird on the smaller version, but since I don't see it on the large version, it's obviously just something on the processing on the small one, so no biggie.

That is one colorful gorgeous bird and you captured it beautifully. I like the narrow DOF. Keeps the eye where you want it to be.

Wow, what an interesting and colorful bird. I have never heard of this bird. I really like the low perspective with the grass and that red eye really draws you in. Wonderful light and pose really add to the image, excellent shot May, way to go.
