This details of a yellow Alstroemeria seems taken with a small aperture, but I had to set my usual f/22 because the stamens were distant from each others and the sensor was at the minimum distance. So the 200mm has flatten every things.

The photo was taken with the kind permission of the florist in his shop.

D700, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/22 and ISO 400.

Gigi, IMO this is eye-catching. I really like the stamens; however, I think the pattern on the petals is a bit distracting. Perhaps blurring the BG is the solution if you concur; don't know if it will work.
