On our 5th day and after the Moke Lake photo shoot we decided to come up here to Diamond Lake to capture this beautiful sunset. The original idea was to carry on and continue further from Moke Lake for the next couple of days to other lakes in the region. Due to the severe cold temperature that we experienced as a group decision we decided to abort Moke Lake trip. The alternative was Diamond Lake that has been carved out by an ice age glacier.

Taken with 5DMKII, 16-35 f2.8, ISO 100, Hand blended 4 images

Magnificent reflection. Love the pink and blue combo of tones. I thought the image could use a tad more contrast, but I wouldn't want to disrupt the beautiful softness. Lovely image Abdulla.

Beautiful scene and shot with some great soft colors! I seem that your reflection is a bit bright compared to the actual peaks - I would like to see a little more glow from the snow of the paeks to set them off more against that beautiful sky.

Excellent photo. Loved the composition and the overal colors.
I agree with David regarding the contrast. Just a bit more could add a lot to the strength of the scene.
I also agree with Rick. I think the peaks coul be enhanced a bit more.
Anyway, loved the mood of this picture.

I am a fan of pink in landscape photos and really like this - really nice and subtle. I agree with the other comments about the contrast. Some additional contrast, especially in the mountains, would add to this scene in my opinion. Otherwise, this is really lovely.

Wonderful comments. I will work on adding a bit of contrast and a little bit of glow on the snow.

Nice. Works well. The pink is to die for! I think it could benefit from more contrast.
