Taken on the shore of Olympic NP. I was hopeful that there would be more drama in the sky, but not the case. From a scan.

Beautiful! Great (natural) colours and super silhouettes of a place very familiar to me. The bits of reflection are great, and the balance of water and sky just right.
Needs a bit of CW rotation to level the water just under the rocks.

Sky loos pretty nice to me. Not sure what is causing the halos around the trees on the sea stack on the left.

Those horizontal layers make a nice intro to the mound silhouettes.

Thanks for the comments. The halos puzzled me, so I went back into PSE9 and played around. I discovered using enhance to darken the sky created the halos. I then switched to color curves and was able to redo the sky without the halos as long as I did not try to go to dark. I have posted a re-post of the scene. To me it is much better.

Nice job on the repost - much better. I really like the silhouetted look you captured. The reflections are great, and the warm colors are wonderful.

Second version much improved w/o the halos. Could see cropping a bit of the right to create more symmetry with the silhouettes.

John,
Agreed, the repost works nicely; definitely improved as far as the halos go and thanks for leveling the horizon. The only suggestion I have and this is entirely personal choice, would be that I think you could boost the saturation a little. I think a little color got lost in the repost - just a little.
