My last post of this Pronghorn, I promise. It was never my intention to turn this into a series but with each image others have mentioned things they would like better, that I did have in other photos of this guy - in this case that the more sky background I had on the animal the better. This shot was taken three clicks before my first post.

7D, 1/1250, f/5.6, ISO 640, EV +0.67, 500 f/4, 1.4 tc, shot from pickup window on 9/21/11 in very warm light at Flaming Gorge, cropped to 60% of original image, exposure adjustment in ACR, selectively sharpened, no additional processing or adjustments

Great light, perspective, and capturing the gallop mid-air is exceptional.
Well done!

This was a wonderful series, Ron. I have never been this close to these antelope and you captured such realism. Outstanding!

Great series. Like how the legs are not touching the ground.

Ron, you were just teasing with the first 2 pronghorn post, saving the best one for last! This is my favorite of the 3. Thanks for sharing.

Can't ask for a better action image with the hill acting as a fantastic leading line.

I have really enjoyed the images of the Pronghorn. I think you did an exceptional job of capturing a very fast animal in sharp focus and very good compositions. Fine series Ron.

The fact that you caught this guy in mid air entirely above the 'horizon' line makes this probably the strongest image in this amazing series Ron! Yet, the pose in your image no.2 remains my preferred pose; if it had that pose in this situation (above the horizon line) it would have been even better IMO. :toast:

Another winner.
Our pronghorns are found in sage meadows. Never see their legs. A real treat to see these full body shots. Thanks

I really like how you captured him in mid-air Ron and I think this third one is my favorite of the lot. Nice morning light like the others, etc.. :toast:

I believe I like this one the best due to the feet being above the horizon line, way to go Ron.
